Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026 (revised the same day)

The Law Offices of Ty Martinez (“we” or “us”) runs tymartinezlaw.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, how we use it, who receives it and the choices you have. It covers this website only, not information we receive while representing a client.

Who we are

The Law Offices of Ty Martinez, 7121 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504. Phone: (888) 348-7288. Email: ty@tymartinezlaw.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message. A message may include details about a legal matter, so please read “Be careful with sensitive information” below before you write.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, our web server and the services listed below receive:

  • your IP address, which can show your approximate location
  • your browser and device type, and the date and time of your visit
  • the pages you view and the site that sent you here, including an ad click identifier if you arrive from a Google ad
  • how you use the pages, such as tapping a phone link, clicking a link, scrolling and sending the form (but not the words you type)
  • identifiers stored in cookies (see “Cookies” below)

The Google tools on this site do not collect the contact details you type into the form.

How we use information

  • To answer your inquiry and decide whether we can help, including checking for conflicts of interest
  • To run, secure and fix the website, and to block automated spam
  • To understand how visitors use the site (analytics)
  • To measure and improve our advertising, such as counting the calls and inquiries that come from our ads
  • To meet our legal and professional obligations

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Who receives information

Form messages are read by our attorneys, Ty Martinez and Yvonne Todd. These companies also receive information from the site:

  • Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads): pages viewed, actions on the site, cookie identifiers, IP address and device details, for website analytics and ad measurement.
  • Google LLC (Gmail and Google Workspace): your form message, sent and stored as an email, to deliver your inquiry to our attorneys.
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile): IP address and browser and device signals, to tell people apart from automated spam.
  • AOne Creative LLC, our web developer and host: server logs, website files and website backups (kept in a Google Drive account), for hosting, maintenance and backups.
  • WordPress.org: your IP address, when your browser loads emoji images, to display emoji in page text.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it (for example, a court order), to protect our rights or others’ safety, or to a successor if the practice changes hands.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site sets these:

  • _ga (Google Analytics): tells repeat visits from the same browser apart. Lasts up to 2 years.
  • _ga_4T7TNQVMYL (Google Analytics): keeps track of the current visit. Lasts up to 2 years.
  • _gcl_au (Google Ads): connects visits to ad clicks. Lasts 90 days.
  • _gcl_aw and _gcl_gs (Google Ads): store the ad click identifier when you arrive from a Google ad. Last 90 days.

Google also uses its own advertising cookies on Google’s domains, depending on your browser settings. The site sets no other cookies for visitors. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, and Google Ads conversion measurement to count the calls and inquiries that come from our ads. We have turned off remarketing, ad personalization, Google signals and user-provided data for this site. That means we do not use your visits here to show you our ads on Google or on other websites, and these tools do not send Google the contact details you type.

Google Analytics and Google Ads use the first-party cookies listed above, and Google may also use its own cookies, to report on visits and to measure ad results.

Other parties, including Google, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this site. Your choices:

Do Not Track

This site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals or Global Privacy Control signals from browsers. The Google tools on the site work the same whether or not your browser sends them, so please use the choices above.

Be careful with sensitive information

Contacting us through this site does not make you our client or create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not put the facts of your case, your criminal history or other sensitive details in the form; your name, how to reach you and a short description are enough, and we will talk through the rest by phone. Email and web forms are not completely secure.

How long we keep information

  • Form messages: kept in our email as long as we need them to respond, to check for conflicts of interest and to meet our legal and professional obligations. A copy is also kept in the email account the website uses to send messages.
  • Server logs: raw web server logs (IP address, pages, browser) are kept for about one day. Monthly traffic statistics built from them, which can include IP addresses, are kept on our server.
  • Google Analytics: visit and user data is kept for 14 months.
  • Advertising data: we no longer add visitors to remarketing lists; entries made before this update expire within 30 days and are not used to show ads. Google keeps ad click and conversion records, and its own data, under its policies.
  • Website backups: made monthly, with the two most recent kept. They do not contain form messages.

Security

The site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to form messages is limited to our attorneys, and access to the website and its backups is limited to us and our web developer. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure.

Reviewing, correcting or deleting your information

The site has no user accounts. To ask what information we have from your inquiry, to correct it or to ask us to delete it, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information when the law or our professional rules require it. For analytics and advertising data held by Google, use the choices under “Analytics and advertising” above.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian contact us. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. For a material change, we will also place a notice at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
